Coach the Coach
Coach the Coach is a brand new initiative for the summer of 2023.
It is aimed at parents, new coaches, teachers and players looking to get in involved in coaching.
During the badminton offseason, local coaches will be able to attend a 3 week coaching session and receive positive feedback on all aspects of coaching.
Attendees will learn practical skills in a fun environment and experience and over come some of the challenges and pitfalls faced on a day to day basis from one of Irelands top Badminton Coaches.
Each course consists of 3 weekly sessions lasting 90 minutes. (1 hour coaching/30mins open play). At these sessions, participants will be able to ask questions on certain coaching scenario's and receive instant feedback there and then and test out methods learned on the night. Participants can discuss with peers their own coaching experiences and work through processes to overcome future potential pitfalls.
​Each course limited to 10 participants at a cost of​ €50 per participant​. Each participant will get 1 free group coaching session in a club or school of said participant for the upcoming 2023/24 season.
